Modernized a rich tradition and aimed to dignify a cultural Japanese shoe, the Geta. 

 

The Geta was always environment and factory friendly. With the expense of technology, we can evolve the Geta and also use  use sustainable materials and methods to manufacture and recycle this shoe. With biological engineered materials the transition to circular design is a  smoother and now frankly imperative. 

 

The outsole featured on this piece is molded from recycled and reinforced coral. 

The inner is manufacturing by engineering algae into polyurethane imitation. 

The leather and suede components are crafted with Mylo synthetic materials.
